My dad in Wuxi, China

Two years ago I asked my dad, who was 70 years old, if he was interested in learning Tai Chi. His only concern was if and how he could remember all those moves. I told him not to worry about if and how, just try. A year later, he learned all the moves of Yang style long form (total 108 moves). Now, he goes to the city park every morning and join the regular group to practice 3 times of the Yang style tai chi without stop, which is about one full hour long.
When I visited him this October, I went to the park with him a few times. I would practice my Chen style tai chi, he would practice his Yang style tai chi with his group. I had to admit I miss my own practice group. It's more fun to have other people practice along with you.
